Hello, world!

Good evening to everybody!

I'm typing this up very quickly before I head to bed, on a blog whose current visual appearance can be described as 'rudimentary' at best. That said, I'm yelling this first post into the void to let you all know that I'm giving this blogging thing a proper try, about fifteen years too late. In an attempt to get myself back into reading, I'm going to be blogging my chapter-by-chapter review of different books that I am currently reading or re-reading (or re-re-reading, sometimes, as we all do.)

I'm currently a few chapters deep into several books; Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig is currently chief among them. While I can't promise what my posting schedule will look like, I will at least try to get a post up every few days, and I'll try to have a backlog of chapters to review so that I don't have to rush through a chapter late at night, like I'm writing this post.

Anyhow! The plan is set; I'm going to post my first-read review of Zen tomorrow, if all goes well. In the meantime, if you're somehow reading this from somewhere other than my Tumblr, you can find me there at verix-silvercrow.
